Jesus’ words give life and truth to two very different people in John chapters 3 and 4. We are so looking forward to meeting them as they meet Jesus when Clare Heath-Whyte speaks on those chapters at Midlands Women’s Convention 2023.
This year, we have a new venue in Birmingham and will also see the return of seminars. We will sing, pray, listen to God’s Word and enjoy the day together with other women. 10ofthose is providing us with a huge bookstall so you can take MWC home with you, too.
We hope that you can join us in the East in Nottingham on Saturday, 7th October at Cornerstone Church, or in the West in Birmingham on Saturday, 21st October at The Ruddock Performing Arts Centre.

Clare Heath-Whyte ives in Morden South London where her husband is the minister of a smallish Anglican church. They have two grown up, married children. Clare helps out with women’s and children’s ministry at church and also enjoys speaking at events like this and, when she has time, writing Christian biographies.

Reading God’s Word is joyful and life giving, but it can also be hard when we don’t know how to understand it. In this seminar, we will think through some helpful tools to use as we read God’s Word so that we can hear and respond to what He is really saying to us. Come along whether you are new to the Bible or have been reading it for years as we help one another to go deeper into the beauty and richness of the Word.

Elizabeth Fry is best known as a prison reformer and one time face of the £5 note. Perhaps less known is her passion for the gospel which motivated everything she did. As we look at her amazing life we will consider what lessons we can learn for our witness in our own contexts.

Whether or not we’re aware of them, all of us will come across people who are questioning their gender, and cultural attitudes are changing rapidly. How can Christians best love those who do not feel they fit in the traditional view of gender?
Youth Seminar for 14-18s
We live in a very ‘this is me’ culture – where people seem to have the ability to decide who they are and what they want to be. But what does the Bible say about who we are? And who does God want us to be? And how does that all work in school, and how can we talk to our school friends about who we are? This seminar will try and answer all of those questions for 14-18 year olds and help us think more about our Identity in Christ.
